The property is so charming and secluded - the views are stunning! The lovely hostess was so welcoming and helpful and the breakfast each morning was delicious!

To be improved

This is not a fault of the property, just advice for others but it’s hard to get Taxis to and from the hotel because it is so secluded so you need a car.

“Perfect place to relax and explore the Basque Country”

The best

We enjoyed a fantastic stay in Arotzenea. It is a beautiful and very comfortable house in an amazing location. The family room is spacious and comfortable with privacy and views of the mountains. The host made us felt welcome and was attentive and helpful. The breakfast is very nice, plenty of excellent quality options and is served in a lovely terrace with incredible views.

To be improved

Everything was good but if I would have to say something I would have enjoyed having a small fridge in the room to keep cold drinks and some snacks.

“Cons: The first time we stayed there it was ok. The second time, the room was small, the bed uncomfortable, the bathroom very small and smelled bad. The breakfast is ok, but very simple and small and it was also better the first time around. This time there was almost nothing to eat. Coffee is horrible! I think it's too expensive for what you get!”
