The best

A beautiful, spacious two-story house with a huge living room that makes you feel at home. Everything is thoughtfully designed, not just for renting, which creates a special cozy atmosphere. The kitchen is well-equipped, the bedding is impeccably clean, and both bathrooms (there are two) have everything you might need. It’s worth noting that the house is located high in the mountains, which has its pros and cons. The pros: peace, nature, fresh air, and a stunning starry sky. The cons: it takes about 30 minutes by car to reach the nearest town, and the temperature here is approximately 10 degrees cooler than in southern regions. We stayed in January, and during this time, the indoor temperature was around 17-18°C. However, each room is equipped with a heater, which helps to make the stay comfortable. If you enjoy hiking and nature, this place will be a perfect find for you, because the house is located close to the village of Masca, one of the most beautiful places on the island, offering the best hiking trails and breathtaking views, considered among the best on the entire island.

To be improved

The rooms are on the smaller side, and the winding roads to the house might not be for everyone, but they are part of the mountain charm.

“Nice place for a family up in the mountains!”

Great views, up in the mountains, near pretty walks. Nice bathrooms, clean house. Left us some supplies in the kitchen. Responsive host.

To be improved

The driveway entry is most easily accessible when approaching only from one direction on the road, and there is a locked gate that you can only unlock after retrieving the keys from the house. Large cars and vans not recommended- it’s a tight squeeze. Also, across the street as another house with a sign called “EL Chorrito,” which caused us confusion when we first arrived, after dark. Sharing a short document with entry details would have been a great help. It would be good to warn visitors of all this.
