It was a cute, rustic place with a large, sunny balcony overlooking the village and mountains - the views were stunning. The pool and gardens are super and well maintained. It had everything you need to cook simple meals - a fridge, microwave, two ring hob, toaster and kettle.

To be improved

The access would be difficult/impossible for those with a disability. There were animals in neighbouring properties which were noisy at times.

The best

For someone who lives and works in a big city, Santa Lucia is paradise. Amazing silence, tranquility. We will definitely return to Casa Rural El Olivar again. The tranquility of the place captivated us. The apartment is well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The internet works very well. Very good kitchen facilities. Good access by car. It is best to park in the public parking spaces in the area and walk to El Olivar. Ideal location for mountain excursions to Pique de las Nieves or Roque Noble (c.a. 30 minut by car). Incredibly kind and helpful owner (Sergio, thank you for the delicious mangoes!).

To be improved

Everything was fine. The only thing that would be useful would be maybe an umbrella on the balcony of the upper apartment :) Sometimes it was just too hot to sit on the balcony.

“A cozy and enjoyable stay 🥰”

The best

I really enjoyed the coziness of the room (especially when opening al the doors and windows at the end of the day), the best terrace of Santa Lucia and the fact that I could enjoy all of this - including the swimming pool- by myself. Also Sergio was a very kind host.

It is an awesome apartment with a wonderful view. I had a lovely stay and the owner is very nice and helpful.

To be improved

Since I did not have Whatsapp, it was a bit hard to communicate with the owner upon arrival in order to get the necessary information to get access to the apartment. Ahh and maybe the cold white light could be improved 😅
