“Absoloutely blissful stay in the mountains, would love to return soon”
Everything. Stunningly beautiful location and views, very peaceful. Several restaurants nearby. We particularly loved El Guato, with tapas and delicious home cooking. Sitting on the apartment balcony at night and watching the night sky was incredible, being in a very dark sky area. I'd never seen the whole Orion constellation before! Good quality mattress on a beautifully carved wooden bed, really really comfortable. It was particularly magical to hear blackbirds and other birds singing in January. There was even a 2 person voucher for the nearby La Fortuleza, well worth a visit. The property had a swimming pool, which we didn;t use, and a gorgeous garden, lovingly tended by Sergio, who manages the property, very helpful, knowledgable about the island and the garden, and who is gradually reintroducing native species into the garden. Thank you Sergio!

“Lovely idyllic cottage away from the tourism.”
Great location, idyllic. Lovely style - kept its 19th century look. Big place for 2. Lovely balcony facing the sunrise. Shop close by which sold a lot of stuff. Sergio our host was lovely - fixed the WiFi which I accidentally unplugged😌.
Lots of flies at the windows in the morning, door and locks quite stiff, boiler a bit small- 15 min shower maximum. Only 4 buses a day.
“Nice place for a retrite if you want to stay out of tourist streams and have good access to mountain adventures.”
cosy little house with pool in a pittoreske village.
Locks could be upgraded for easier access especially when arriving late in the night and not knowing all tricks needed.
“Good”
Santa Lucia is wonderful little town, very hospitable, good choice of bars and restaurants and in the most fantastic landscape. Sergio was very friendly and when things went wrong responded very quickly. Nice chunk of cheese in the fridge as well. Pool was cool but very pleasant after returning hot and dusty from a days walking.
Felt the accommodation fell below the standard I would expect for the price. Windows needed cleaning, broken, tatty blind over kitchen window, seating looking slightly worse for wear, also cheese was nice but no essentials provided such as salt and pepper, olive oil, bin liners, fly spray (flies bit of a problem), these cost very little but do make a difference and would be more appreciated than the cheese. Also aware we are in lovely rural setting but barking dogs are a bit incessant, appreciate difficult to control but just being honest and saying they detract from the otherwise lovely setting.
