“Wonderful stay in a great rural casita”

The best

Very spacious casita in a great rural location. The kitchen facilities were excellent - far better than in any other holiday property we have stayed at. Very comfortable house with good wifi and smart tvs, parking and a lovely garden. The goats were fun too. Rafa was an excellent host and shared tips for exploring the area etc. which really enhanced our stay.

“Fabulous! A home away from home!”

Pictures didn’t do it justice, it was such a lovely surprise to discover the house and garden bigger than we expected! Very clean upon arrival, a welcome gift of fresh eggs from the chickens on the land, and we were happily surprised with plenty of utilities in the kitchen and garden (bbq, sun chairs, a balcony-veranda with the most incredible view to have dinner, … ! Rafa (our host) was a pleasure to communicate with! Our dogs loved the fenced garden, and it was a pleasure for us to relax there! We enjoyed a pool day, loved watching the goats greet us every morning, and enjoyed collecting fresh eggs! The location is fabulous to explore Pamplona and the Rioja area, and go for walks locally! We can’t wait to come back next year :)

To be improved

Everything was 200% amazing!! We just wish we could have stayed longer :)

“A lovely house in a peaceful, rural location.”

It’s peaceful rural location. Clearly a much loved family home. Wonderful to see the goats and ponies around the house. Delightful to be around the house and easy access to mountains and interesting places. Would also be wonderful for a family with children. Thank you, Rafa.

To be improved

If you’re English, you may want to bring your own kettle. We would have appreciated a tea towel and hand towel for the kitchen, the bed linen and bathroom towels were fabulous.

well the internet photos are not correct they have over enhanced the photos the advertised second toilet doesn’t exist,the main bedroom has the second bedroom door into it so privacy doesn’t exist Try sleeping on a double bed mattress that was designed and used in the 1980’s As for a the wooden stove try carrying logs 50 meters and upstairs if your in older age ,then told to drive 10k to buy matches The BBQ was a very old rusty steel and collect your timber to get it going and set near a dirty looking pool area Then your cups and plates have chips RESPONSE TO OWNER We were to stay 2 nights, only stayed 1 night because we all found it very unsuitable did not ask for a refund just took it as a lesson learnt we did not leave a mess as implied by owner, also he charges 48Euro extra for cleaning we should of left a mess

“Pleasant”

location of the house: in the middle of nature, very calm with beautiful surroundings and close to Pamplona. the house has a lovely terras.

To be improved

the pool was smaller than expected. the beds weren't comfortable at all, bedrooms were very small. I also didn't realize that it was our task to take care of the animals. Fortunately, my 10-year old loved it :-) there is no boiler to make a cup of tea in the morning, further is the kitchen well equipped.
