“Great welcome to this charming guesthouse.”
Got a very friendly welcome from Gabriella and her husband to their charming and cosy ancient home. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with a nice breakfast. Owners very helpful and directed us where to get something to eat. If you arrive by car, park in church square as streets very narrow.....it's a very short walk.
Nothing we didn't like, loved the charm of this old building.
“We stayed at Casa Rural Garrida for one night as part of our Honeymoon. From the moment we arrived until the time we left we were made to feel like old friends. Gisela welcomed us and told us some of the history of the house, gave us a tour of some of the original parts of the house and recommended a walk along the river which we did and really enjoyed. We had dinner in the guesthouse and as Paul doesn't eat meat we were given swordfish which was amazing. The meal was a feast with cheese, nuts, dates and broadbeans to start, followed by the main course and a choice of two desserts. We finished off the night by sitting on the balcony looking at the stars. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants to visit a typical Spanish village in the mountains. Thankyou Gisela and Sebastian for giving us such a wonderful time”

“Welcoming, authentic home. Great people”
The stay at thIs property was quite interesting. Exceptional location on hillside after numerous tight turns. The house is very authentic, owners exceptional. We had a little emergency requiring seeing a doctor. Gabriella accompanied us to help with the translating. We had a comfortable, clean room on top floor (no elevator) . Breakfast was good. We thank them for their assistance, such nice people.
“Sublimely comfortable experience, friendly hosts able to advise in all circumstances..”
Traditional Spanish breakfast and dinner (served 9pm) available. Location as central as it gets, which meant either a careful car trip through the narrow ancient streets (Chelsea Tractors a no-no). Secure parking never a problem in the main square just 20m away, or a climb up the 60 steps from the main road, all the keep-fit one could ask for. Panoramic views from the street 30m south from the Casa; seats and fountain provided, sun-trap par excellence. English spoken by hosts and WiFi in all rooms.
Absence of shower handrail for top-heavy old farts.
“Lovely accom in old building”
Really nice accommodation in a beautiful old building. Facilities are clean and comfortable and lovely hospitality provided by the couple that runs the place. The area its located in is very peaceful with plenty of walks and lookouts around. Definitely worth a stop when driving through Spain.
