Casa Rural la callejita

The peace and quiet was just what I needed. The casa is almost at the top of the village just next to the church. Its about a 5-10 minute walk down the hill to the restaurants and bars.The neighbourhood is very quiet. A few cars come and go but that's it. I did not hear any young people racing up and down the streets on motorbikes which was great.The place I am at now has many young people riding very loud motorbikes. It is very annoying. The street is wide enough So that if you do not find a parking spot, you can stop and unload your car without having to walk more than 5 m. I was lucky and normally always found a parking spot very close by. Be aware. The streets in Grazalema are very very narrow. It was a little scary sometimes because of the other cars parked on the narrow streets. Many times navigating to and from the casa I only had 1-2cm of clearance on each side of my car but my car isn't a small one. You can see right away when you go inside the house that a woman has been working on the decorations. All done with love. The house is on 2 levels. I slept in the bedroom upstairs on the double bed and that was the thickest and most comfortable mattress i've had in my three months in spain. There is no A/C but there is a ceiling fan in the bedroom upstairs with the double bed. The other bedroom has a fan on the table. The shower. And toilet are upstairs. The shower is a little bit small And has a shower curtain instead of a glass shower stall. Some people might not like the shower curtain sticking to their legs while they're taking a shower but it was no big deal for me. Downstairs on the ground floor there was another bedroom, but the door was locked so I couldn't look inside.I was in the house alone. The owner lady, who was very friendly lives very close by so if there's anything you need.She can be there with two or three minutes. The house was extremely clean. I appreciated that very much.
