A wonderful place, clean, quiet and comfortable. The host was very friendly and kind. We had a wonderful time, surrounded by beautiful nature.

A simple continental breakfast was much enjoyed in the spacious kitchen with views of the mountains around. I was the only guest as it was early in the season and so had the entire house to myself. Everything looked new and was of a high quality. Navatrasierra is a tiny, remote village in mountains, known for their fossil trilobites. I enjoyed the local museum and enjoyed meeting the curator. I arrived very late as I failed to check the distance from Cordoba. If I had known that I would have to tackle a long, single-track mountain road in the dark, I would have set out much earlier. The kindly host let me into the house when I arrived after 23:00!

We travelled by motorcycle and the property is situated in a beautiful location for riding. The welcome from the host was very warm and informative. The property was spotless and the room very comfortable with everything you could want supplied. Breakfast was excellent and the bonus was that there is a small bar in the village which was very welcoming indeed and served a lovely dinner.
