“Picturesque farmhouse in the mountains”

The best

Picturesque but well-equipped traditional farmhouse in a beautiful and quiet part of the Parque Rural de Teno. Close to many gems of Northwest Tenerife (by car or even public transport). Ideal for a family of four with two school-age adventurous boys.

To be improved

Be aware that up in Erjos it could get much colder and more humid than in other areas further down on the sea front. E.g., over Easter we could not use the pool or any of the outdoor space. There is however plenty of heating inside, including heated floors (although you have to pay the extra bit in case you use more than 25kW/day of electricity) and a fireplace (with firewood at 5€/box after the first complimentary box).

“Perfect place to get away from the crowds and enjoy mountains and hiking in a well equiped property.”

The best

Beutiful and authentic decor, all kitchen equipment, heating and terrace. Property was clean and cozy, rustic style. There were beautiful views of the nature around, very green area. Good communication with the host.

To be improved

Be aware that the location is up in the mountains so it takes time to get to places. In winter season it may get pretty cold in the area, so floor heating and fireplace, which are available in the property, will be useful.

“Beautiful little house in rural Tenerife!”

The best

Lovely house in the cozy, rural village of Erjos at ~ 1.000m altitude. Perfect for a mix of hiking/beach holiday. Comfortable, clean and very well equipped. Highlight for us was the small pool that provides wonderful refreshment after a hot day in the mountains, our little daughter loved it! Excellent service and communication. 10 minutes by car to the next supermarket. Would visit again!
