“I arrived very late well after midnight and found the instructions to access the property and my room were very easy to follow. The following morning Monica was so helpful in giving me directions to the station. Lovely property and really helpful - would definitely stay again.”

The best

The owner is very friendly and talkative. Outside the house there is a beautiful garden.

To be improved

It is neither a hotel nor an apartment. You do not get access to the kitchen and rooms are tiny. Building is OK clean but a bit old and smells of humidity. Location pretty inconvenient - getting to the San Sebastián best by taxi - which is expensive.

The best

Located within easy distance of Donostia-San Sebastian, this property is a former family home and perched on top of a hill where you can see for miles around. The garden is well kept (unless the neighbours goats break free and eat the plants!) and so it the building itself. Monica is an absolute star, she communicated very well via WhatsApp providing self check-in details and recommendations etc for our stay - we had coffee and a good chat most mornings!

Nothing really, although our room felt small and packed in.

Lovely property inside and out. Would have been nice to experience the outside more without rain!!

Maybe a little further than I expected to get the train to San Sebastián but definitely still doable, and close enough to drive too
