Pedro is a very welcoming and pleasant host; we had no issues at all. He was always in touch and ready to help. The house and the plot are charming and delightful. The pool is very clean. It's important to note that young children should not be left unattended due to the pool and the unfenced terrace, but we were aware of this beforehand.

To be improved

The fireplace is more decorative and not for real use, as it is not safe.

The best

This was a self catering rental. All that was necessary to cook a decent meal was available, including easy to use oven and good hob cooker. A good washing machine was provided. This casa rural was a cosy and an idyllic setting, overlooking the coast with views of Tenerife and Gomera when the clouds lifted.

To be improved

Unfortunately the weather was not very kind! Other than that, we liked this casa rural very much. We would certainly return, but, as we are not into hiking, we would perhaps choose a different time of year. It was ideally situated for trecking and walking, with many trails signposted in the vicinity. The local town of Mazo had a super local mercadillo with locally grown fruit and vegetables and homemade products and crafts, open on Saturdays and Sundays. We would have loved to have been able to make greater use of the lovely garden and swimming pool. There were plenty of outdoor seating and tables for eating, relaxing & sunbathing. We liked that we met our host and he went out of his way to make our stay a very pleasant and happy event over the two weeks.
