The owner was very attentive and communication was clear.
Standard quality for this hotel tier.
Overall a wonderful experience with beautiful views and a cozy home.
Optimal location for visiting Potes and Fuente Dé.
The room was very clean and felt new.
Common area with well-equipped kitchen and spacious living room.
“Family hiking in Picos”
Excellent location, although it may be a challenge to reach for big cars or less adventurous drivers.
The house is not fully equipped, some items such as coffee mugs, basic garden furniture, … were missing. The matrasses are VERY HARD. There were no cupboards in our room and the chosen lighting is not very cosy. Etc etc so the owners need to do some more work before this deserves a score of 7 or more.
“For an overnight stay in such a beautiful area, it’s a good option. Thank you!”
Hi! My husband, our 6-year-old child, and I stayed in this house, and overall, everything was great—clean, and everything was new! It’s like a small hotel with three floors and rooms on each floor. There’s a shared kitchen and lounge area on the ground floor, which is quite convenient, though we didn’t use the kitchen as we were out exploring all day and returned late. I also noticed there was a washing machine available. We stayed in a room on the third floor with a sloped ceiling, and the window was quite small. Adults had to constantly watch their heads to avoid hitting them. Everything in the room was new and clean, but we missed having a wardrobe, so all our stuff stayed in our suitcases. An important note—getting to the house can be challenging if you’re not an experienced driver. The streets leading up to the house are very narrow. The village itself is quite small, with no shops or cafes, so you need to drive to nearby villages for those. Every trip in and out can be tricky, but it might not be an issue for everyone. Also, there was no kettle or coffee machine in the shared kitchen (or maybe I just couldn’t find them). But for an overnight stay in such a beautiful area, it’s a good option. Thank you!
no kettle or coffee machine, wardrobe.
“Beautiful home, peaceful stay”
Beautiful, quaint home. Quaint on the outside but fully equipped with modern facilities on the inside 10/10. Fresh air, surrounded by beautiful green with horses grazing right outside. All you hear is the sound of cow bells. We were here as a family with grandparents and young children and all loved it. Close enough to Fuente De and hiking trails. Host is based in their hotel property in Espinama but were very helpful and responsive.
The only difficulty maybe is navigating a few narrow steep roads to get to the house. It is within a rural community, and while there were friendly folks, we got the sense that some of the neighbours might not be appreciative of the intrusion of strangers who don’t speak their language.
