“Traditional rural guesthouse in small village”
The best

Traditional Spanish house in small village. Rooms were good. Shared common room and kitchen. Washing machine available. Great location for visiting Monfrague National Park.

To be improved

Options for eating out are limited in the village. Expect basic Spanish food. Likewise, shops are limited.

Location close to the national park is excellent. It was as described. Alicia was very easy to communicate with. It is very good value

To be improved

The facilities to buy food are limited in the village and we should have been better prepared since it was a Spanish holiday.

The best

Generous provision of breakfast items, and the distribution relating to individual rooms, allowed for flexible meal times. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Ideal accommodation for birdwatchers who come and go at different times, and especially early morning.

To be improved

A folder of “house rules” would be helpful eg. use of dishwasher. This could also include information on useful services eg. location of nearest pharmacy, supermarket etc, as well as places of interest in the area.
