“Beautiful house right under the caste, great value for money”

What a wonderful house in the heart of Biar, right under the castle! Beautiful vintage furniture and decor takes you back in time, and the view of the city from the bedroom is absolutely stunning! Super spacious with everything you need for your stay. The host didn't speak English, and we didn't speak Spanish but communication was no problem - super kind host! :) Great value for money, would definitely recommend!

“Lovely property for a few days of relaxation.”

The best

Fabulous property near Biar castle. Parking was available in the castle car park which is only about 100m walk from the front door. The host met us at the house and even though there was a language barrier, we managed fine with google translate! The property was clean, comfortable, quiet and spacious, everything you would want for a few days away. Some nice bars and restaurants in Biar, which was a cute little town, but some aren't open at the beginning of the week. Thankfully the supermarket was!

To be improved

Couldn't get the electric hob to work so had to cook everything in the microwave. Some of the kitchen items could have been cleaner.

We had to meet the host to get the key. If they could have a key box with access code, it would have been very convenient.

The best

Casa Rural appartment had excellent location right beside the historical castle in heart of old town. Parking was easy, free and appeared to be safe at the castle parking. The appartment was very nice, spacious and with very genuine historical touch. I truly loved the old interiors. Good basic equipment such as washing machine. Grill and sitting area at the patio was nice too! Biar is truly a gem, lovely old town.

To be improved

The bed we chose to use was not so comfortable, slight minus for that. Floors were not totally clean (otherwise the appartment was clean though) - maybe it is common to walk inside with shoes in some countries, but we never do that in Finland so I'm not used to that. Some of the kitchenware was in need of updating.
