Service was adequate but could be warmer and more engaging.
“Beautiful location in an authentic Spanish town. Loved the area.”
Outstanding scenic views from the balcony. Close to town centre with a walk of approximately 20 minutes leisurely. Clean throughout. The spa tub was fantastic. Very powerful shower in the bathroom as well. Host offers pet friendly accommodation.
Car parking was hit and miss. Sometimes could park outside the property and other times could have to walk 10-15 minutes back to the property after finding a parking space ! A problem for anyone who has mobility issues.
“Townhouse in Olvera”
Essentially the house is fine, but with a bit more effort our stay could have been better. A nice balcony, good shower and comfortable bed. Olvera is a lovely place to explore.
No communication beforehand. On arrival (at the stated time) there was nobody there and we had to ring the owner to be given the door code. Not a Casa Rural, but a Townhouse on a well used road with all the inherent traffic noise you would expect, particularly when sitting in the lounge area. Yes, the bathroom being on the top floor is not ideal, but it is after all a traditional three story townhouse. Having to make the bed ourselves on arrival was unexpected. We had the torn sheet too! Nice Dolce Gusto machine, but just one capsule left for us. Nice lanterns on the stairs, no candles provided. A lovely balcony, but no shelter from the sun. Kitchen used as a dumping ground for about a dozen (some greasy) frying pans amongst many other things.
