“We had an absolutely lovely stay at Casa Salva and would stay again, happily.”
Pedro was wonderful and extremely helpful. We had a scare with a scam and he went above and beyond to assure us all was safe and well.
“Exceptional”
This is a beautiful place. The house is simple but perfect for an authentic Fornalutx stay.

“Great place to unwind”
Amazing views from the cottage. The veranda is set up very comfortably so you can eat there or spend the day sunbathing. The house is comfortable and well equipped. The town has good restaurants and the central location makes it easy to tour the east of the island.
It is best to have a small car. We managed with a bigger one, but the parking space is small and turning is difficult .

There is a beautiful view of Fornalutx and the mountains around it and Soller. It really is a wonderful village and ideal for starting hikes (for example up to the Cuber reservoir) and enjoy the "valley of oranges". Also to be fair about the other comments about the car, the streets leading to the house are quite typical and the fact that they're narrow is to be expected in general in Fornalutx. After a couple of drives you quickly learn how to manage the trip, even with a bigger car. We were also accompanied to the house for the first trip. Not to mention: air conditioning in the bedrooms! This allowed us to sleep, as it would have been too hot otherwise.
Mosquitoes are everywhere in Mallorca, but keeping a bathtub with stagnant water next to the house gave them a breeding ground and meant that we couldn't use the outside facilities without bathing in insect repellent, day or night. That's also the reason why we wouldn't open the windows at night, so the living room and kitchen were extremely warm and only the fan helped. Every time we took a shower the electricity would cut out, meaning no water and no light until the switch was flicked back on, which happened too often.
