Very peaceful location. Well maintained gardens. Comfy bed. Kitchenette well provided. Big tv with Netflix.

To be improved

We had booked the property because of many pictures of the amazing looking pool and terrace overlooking the mountains. In the small print on the confirmation email, we were told that the pool wasn’t open, which due to our busy lives we did not read. Sadly we were not allowed to use the terrace or the sun loungers either so we were confined to a a couple of wooden chairs in the shade outside our accommodation. The owners did eventually let us use the small terrace area belonging to the accommodation next door which had a sunnier aspect. As the house is half way up the mountain, a little more information about suggested walks, maps and things to do would have been helpful. There are some amazing walks on the doorstep, one going through the mountain and into the town which we (literally) stumbled on ourselves. The house is quite difficult to find - you will need to WhatsApp the owner before you arrive for instructions - we got very hot, bothered and lost relying on Google. The house is 2.5 k from the outskirts of town. A rather daunting walk back up hill after some drinks in town. There are taxis, but you will need help from the locals to call you one otherwise you’ll be waiting at the taxi rank for ever. This is certainly true in April, anyway! The owners, although they are living on site are conspicuous by their absence. Although this can be a good thing, an initial friendly welcome drink and a few pointers would have been appreciated. Note that if you book the accommodation for 4, the only loo and bathroom is off the main bedroom, so not ideal for 4 adults for any length of time.
