“Tucked away for a short getaway.”
The best

Great location, 6 minutes on the bus from the airport then a 10/15minute walk. I had started to worry about collecting keys but host contacted via Whatsapp on day of arrival with instructions. Well equipped kitchen, fridge and freezer turned on ready on arrivals. Free WiFi. Keys to access the back terrace and washing machine where in the kitchen. Beds comfy and rooms clean. Windows can be opened and held with hooks to create a breeze. Nearby to supermarkets and plenty of local places to on the front at reasonable prices. 5 minute walk from the beach.

To be improved

I'm organised so I would have preferred Check-In information earlier, but Host was responsive on WhatsApp when they did get in conact. Some evidence of wear and tear due to ace, but still a fantastic price for a fantastic location.

“Disappointing stay”

5 mins from beach & promenade. 10 mins from supermarket and Shopping Centre.

To be improved

Outside terrace is shaded due to surrounding buildings and never gets sun. It is at the front and is very public being 4 metres from a public road. Tenants overhead are noisy moving furniture etc. in the early morning. Check - in access details were not sent to us until we had arrived outside the apartment and were waiting to receive the code. No English channels on the TV.

The best

Casa Siroco Sol Lanzarote was super nice, and probably too good for what I actually needed... It was spacious, beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, smelled really nice and had everything in it you could wish for a holiday house... I was in Lanzarote to explore the Island by Bicycle, and generally Playa Honda was a great base to start daily rides from to get to all parts of the Island… Playa Honda, including the beach is much quieter than the bigger resorts along the coast, very little in the way of the usual holidaymaker paraphernalia was evident around the area and I’d say a high percentage of the people around were actually locals.. The location of Casa Siroco was perfect, a two-minute walk in one direction to the beach, with its beachfront restaurants and an eight-minute walk in the other direction to the main shopping area of Play Honda... The nearby beach restaurants were fantastic, with excellent local fresh fish and produce... I pretty much went there every evening for dinner and drink or two.. For Cycling, Casa Siroco was pretty much right on the coastal cycle route which goes all the way between Puerto del Carmen and Costa Teguise, and it’s about a five-minute cycle through Playa Honda to get to the road to San Bartolomé, which leads to anywhere on the island.. I also walked to both Arrecife and Puerto del Carmen, from Casa Siroco along the coastal path, with both places taking One-One hour, 20 min to walk it.
