It would have been nice to know about the $200 Euro deposit at the time of booking. I only found out 2 days before arriving that I would need the cash on hand at checkin. There was no change of (extra) bed linen available during the 10 day stay. For the same reason, it would have been nice to have more than just 2 large towels and 2 medium hand towels and 1 small wash towel. While there was a washer, there was no drier except for hanging up the wet things outside to dry. This was a bit problematic because the weather was rainy on several days so using the washing machine made no sense. Even though a cleaning fee was included in the price, I was charged extra out of my deposit because apparently some material had to be washed twice.

We were asked for a 200 Euro deposit beforehand, but taking into account that the apartment was well equipped and the good reviews I didn't see it as an issue. Our stay in the apartment was good, we were in Sitges to volunteer in the Film Festival and it was an awesome experience. However, shortly after we left the apartment we were asked about some "big towels" that were not in the apartment. During our stay in the apartment, there were hand towels and some small shower towels which we found perfectly normal, but according to the owners there were also some big towels. We didn't see the supposed big towels during stay. We were accused of stealing those towels in a very unpleasant and passive-aggressive way. I still can't process the absurdity of the situation, being accused of stealing bath towels from a touristic apartment knowing that the owner holds a 200 Euro deposit… In the end the owner returned us only 60 Euro from the security deposit, arguing that each of the towels that were not there costed 35 Euro each, 140 in total. We feel scammed. Very sad to have to give this review instead of the positive one I hoped to write after leaving the apartment and before being harassed by our hosts.

The property description did not mention that there are 25 steps from the front door up to the flat, Also, not all international banks use the IBAN network, making refunds of deposits difficult.
