“Bad”
The best

The only good thing about the property was the view, but you can get that anywhere on Tenerife. This one is really not worth it.

To be improved

The whole house was humid and wet, there was a smell and signs of mold which me and my family are allergic to. This made us leave 20 minutes after arrival. My trousers were wet from sitting at the couch, thats how wet it was. It was hard for us to breath there because of the mold and smell. The owner didnt help at all and we had to pay for another accomodation once again. Nevertheless the window in the bathroom couldnt be closed and it was quite cold, the roads were really steep and its hard to get there, there is no grocery shop nearby. Really bad experience with both the owner and the accomodiaton, i dont recommend at all.

The best

Exceptional location. Very cosy and well equipped, ideal for four people. It was nice to have heating as the nights in february are a bit cold in the mountains. Parking in front of the house, but good drving skills are needed. Hope to come back for a longer stay next time.

To be improved

We had the exact coordinates, but google maps suggested a road which we could not take with our car.

The view and equipment of the facility were great!

To be improved

It’s really hard to come to the property) don’t chose the variar to come to the property from the top, google navigation suggest the variant that only car such as Smart with twin turbo can handle) Chose a destination from the bottom of the seaside (from Los Silos)

Wonderful view. The home is on the mountain with an amazing view on the Ocean. You just need to be a good driver to access. Nice home on two level, with small garden and terrace.

“A beautiful house in a wonderful, quiet Canarian village”
The best

A beautiful house in a wonderful, quiet location. If you go to Tenerife to relax and have a nice time in the surroundings of nature and a calm Canarian village, Casa Tia Tomasa is the place to go. The place is situated high above the coast, so you have all the views, without the fuss of a beach-side hotel resort. There is a terrace for a nice breakfast and a garden with a grill for a dinner. It's close to all the North-Western tourist spots at Tenerife (Teno, Masca, Cueva del Viento) although you will need to navigate mountain roads to get there. But hey, that's what you expect when going to Tenerife. It takes around an hour to drive to the Teide funicular. The drive to the house itself is a bit tricky, so it will help if you take it for the first time during the day.

Unfortunately there was a strong smell from mould throughout the house, mainly in the kitchen.
