We had the joy of staying at an incredibly charming, lovingly run accommodation that truly captured our hearts. Marcel and Mandy are two wonderful, warm-hearted hosts who pour their soul into this special place – you feel welcome from the very first moment. The garden is absolutely enchanting – filled with beautiful flowers, thoughtful decorations, cozy seating areas, and a fantastic pool area that invites you to relax and unwind. Two adorable cats roam freely, adding even more charm to this little paradise. The accommodation offers a lovely terrace where you can enjoy the amazing cuisine. The food is simply divine, with a huge variety of flavors and options available through a creative ticket ordering system. Everything is freshly prepared with care and love – truly delicious! Marcel and Mandy also offer great recommendations for local experiences: hikes, beaches, waterfalls – all within easy reach. There are also plenty of authentic local restaurants nearby serving excellent Spanish dishes and tapas, all at various price ranges – many are even within a 15-minute walk. The charming town of Cómpeta is another highlight – a picturesque village full of friendly people, cozy cafés, lively bars, and fantastic restaurants. Perfect for a relaxed stroll or a sunset drink. We felt completely at home and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. This place is magical, peaceful, and the perfect base for exploring or simply doing nothing at all. We will definitely be back! 💛

Everything was perfect. Such a beautiful little oasis, a lovely pool and comfortable room with fridge and hot drink making facilities. Breakfast was delicious and we could have whatever we wanted. Within walking distance of Cómpeta centre too. Marcel and Mandy couldn’t have been more lovely and helpful. We felt really welcome. Highly recommended.

We have stayed a few times at Competa and this was our best stay in the beautiful town. The accommodation was so lovely and our hosts - Mandy & Marcel - were absolutely fantastic. They were attentive, made wonderful breakfasts and a pleasure to see each morning.

The location is beautiful and the house is amazing. Run by a very sweet couple who make the best breakfast. It’s even more ideal that it’s just three rooms which means you’ll have sufficient privacy and detention from the hosts and they’re adorable cats. They also know the area very well so we got great recommendations for restaurants and hikes around the area

This is a lovely oasis - nice room, lovely courtyard, welcoming guests, and I just loved that pool. Marcel and Mandy were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. If all of that wasn't enough - the breakfasts were divine! Different every day - well done Marcel - apple french toasts, juice, smoothies, fruit gazpacho, coffee, toast and honey, Mandys yoghurt fruit bowl with homemade granola. Avocado toast, cooked breakfast in a cast iron pan . . We loved them all!! There is only three rooms, and I had the pool to myself most if the time, and I could have stayed there all day!!

Lovely place, very clean, lot of attention to details, personalised choice of breakfast home made at the time requested. Great views, lovely village, well maintained house, very tidy little garden, very peaceful , cant wait to come back.
