The best

It is located about a 5 minut walk outside of Anso. Thus it is very quiet and located in a wonderful natural setting. The village itself can be a bit noisy - especially on the weekends - but this is very tranquil. There is a natural spring about 2 minutes walk away.

Spacious comfortable apartment with all advertised facilities Good bed and hot shower Roomy bathroom Free parking

Getting in to property was fraught. We were unable to contact host Local people assisted but were also unable to raise somebody Be aware - the location is a bit out of town Shops and restaurants were a long way away

The best

We stayed last year and loved it so much we made a return visit for a couple of extra nights this time. The location is perfect, the apartment is one of two in a small building next to the main house, and the view from our patio looked up a wooded slope to the mountains. it is on the edge of town with views of the Church, and any easy 10 min walk to the centre.

To be improved

nothing really, they don't have a kettle, but this year we brought our own!

“Quiet, peaceful, and wonderful nature to walk in.”
The best

Anso is a very little village in the Spanish Pyranees. In off season (i.e. not July or August) it is very peaceful. The Casa Rural is located a 10 minute walk from the Calle Mejor - just the right amount of time. The weather was delightful - warm and sunny during the day and cool at night. I have stayed there many times before and have reservations for April and July as well. I would stay away in the winter as it is cold and dark - I don't have a car so can't go skiing.
