We liked the location, the village, the views and the places to sit outside.

To be improved

We thought the bathroom arrangements didn't work very well especially as the sliding door and extractor fan were noisy. The top of the stairs was very dark as there was no light there. All three grocery shops in Lobios closed at 8 every evening and only one had any fresh meat or vegetables.

The best

Absolutely beautifully renovated old stone cottage in a small village. Pure relaxation, delicious grapes in the garden and a lovely terrace to enjoy the rural location. Exceptionally well kitted out, nothing was missing. Very comfortable beds, high quality everywhere.

To be improved

As an architect, I had to wonder about the shower/ toilet largely open to the two bedrooms. And as a visitor, well it's a bit uncomfortable to use those spaces with no sounds insulation! There was an extractor fan, but in the main bedroom this was louder almost than the flush. This was literally the only shortcoming and would not discourage us from going back!
