CONS - We found the apartment to be generally tired and worn out, particularly the outdoor furniture, some of which seemed to be close to collapse. No drawers in the bedrooms, just pigeon holes to store stuff. Bedroom Two wardrobe was full of junk, so full, in fact, that my partner was unable to hang any clothes and there was even an old tee shirt hanging up. The kitchen cupboards and drawers were full of old part-used bottles, well-worn saucepans and mismatched crockery and cutlery, which looked as though it had all come from a charity shop. The Living Area was spacious, but it had all sorts of stuff on every surface. The book case was full of old and yellowing books, most of which should be thrown away, (along with most of the stuff in the Living Area). We got the impression that the owners had just moved out for a week, so that we could use their apartment. I couldn’t get the TV to work. You have to walk along the street to get to the pool and there were no parasols, therefore no shade and only a bench seat. Therefore, we couldn’t stay there for long – about 5 minutes! Whilst I accept that this was a cheap apartment, they should spend some money on it and increase the rental a little. With reference to the return of the deposit, I had to wait 15 days for its return and because “it is very expensive” to do a bank transfer to the UK, they did it with PayPal. This meant that I had to pay a fee to get it back and I have never before had to pay to get my deposit back!!
