“An Exceptional Stay in the Heart of Alhama de Granada”

Staying at Casalar was truly one of the highlights of our trip through Andalusia. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts, who went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home. Their hospitality, attention to detail, and local recommendations made our experience unforgettable. The accommodation itself is stunning — a beautifully restored house that blends traditional charm with modern comforts. Each suite is thoughtfully designed, spacious, and immaculately clean, with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is well-equipped, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the accommodation is only minutes away from the old town, stunning views and walks. We especially appreciated the little touches: local snacks and the genuine warmth of the hosts, who clearly care deeply about their guests and the town. Casalar is also perfectly located to explore the historic center, and take in the dramatic views of the gorge. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a peaceful retreat, or a base for exploring the Granada region, Casalar is the perfect choice. We can’t recommend it enough — we’re already planning our return!

What a wonderful apartment! It’s clear that the hosts Martin and Sam have put a lot of thoughtful work into restoring the building, everything seemed brand new. It’s like being a traditional antique Spanish home with modern 5-star hotel amenities inside. We loved the warm welcome, clean & cool space, and extremely comfortable bed! I wish we could have stayed for more than one night.
