This was a clean apartment. With comfortable beds. We loved the nearby horseriding

The heater in the bathroom didnt work. The kitchen was small with little food preperation space, there was no oven only a microwave, and there wasn't a kettle to boil water. It was hard to retain heat as the front door let in lots of cold air even when the door was closed. There was no Drying rack for clothing. There was no air conditioning. the shower allowed water to spill onto the bathroom floor as the shower curtains were to short. We had to ask for acces to a 2nd bedroom we didnt have access to the entire appartment as the other bedrooms were locked. The restraunt was closed, i would suggest bringing supplies with you for your stay as there isn't any near by restraunts

The best

The house was well equipped and comfortable. Great hiking in the area. The host was very friendly. Even though we couldn't speak the same language he tried to offer us tips on the local area.

To be improved

Check in was a little confusing as the address on booking.com wasn't correct. We had no cell phone service but luckilly some locals helped us contact the owner. The kindness of strangers abounds in the Spanish countryside.

The best

The location was excellent for us as we wanted a "getaway" peaceful break The scenery and places to visit within the area are breathtakingly beautiful. A car is essential to get the most out of your visit. Honojares itself only has a small shop for basic groceries so for variety of shops or places to eat etc. you need to go to the next town Pozo Alcón. (6km)

To be improved

The only problem we encountered was with the wifi but as we wanted a quiet break that could be seen as an advantage!
