“Quirky cave house - needs some tlc”

The best

Excellent location for visiting the Gorafe Desert (megalithic geo park) Sierra Nevada and Granada area. Well maintained, pleasant gardens surround the cave houses with outdoor seating and views of the mountains. Nice small pool area with sun loungers and bar.

To be improved

We felt the property was a bit tired, particularly the bathroom. Also, the cleaning needs more attention as the floor was not very clean (sticky) and we found some pieces of food under the kitchen counter from previous occupants. The shower head was in dire need of a deep clean or replacement as it sprayed everywhere. This was a big problem as there was no shower curtain! We reported to the owner before we left so hopefully it's been rectified by now.

“Uniquely Cool Experience”

The best

Totally unique experience and cool property. The location was very quiet and with a great layout. Each unit had a comfortable outdoor space, and the units were spacious. The amenities in the units were ample had we chosen to stay longer than 2 days. The restaurant, breakfast space, and pool were well attended and clean. The staff was attentive, friendly, and helpful. The bathroom was private and large with a huge walk-in shower. The small kitchen was an added bonus.

To be improved

The furniture could use an upgrade, and the room would benefit from a coffee maker. We also stayed there in the heat of the summer and would have liked a fan to move the air around.

Nice place to stay with interesting interior. Pool was available all the time. There is a place to leave the car. Light breakfast available. Since it is a cave, the room is cool and you have to expect a specific air.
