“NO !!”
We found it easily and waited around until someone left so we could park. It was handy having the car right outside. The property could be quaint and quirky and one can see the potential, but it needs some creativity and some money before that happens.
The location was ok but completely isolated from the town so no cafes restaurants or anything close by to stop and have a coffee. We had to climb down to the main square for meals and back up to the property. It was not made clear that there was NOTHING nearby. The property was not to our liking. We like a bathroom to be clean and this was not. The towels were very very old and worn out, 3 different sizes and shapes of scruffy old rags. There was a worn down bit of old soap by the hand basin. No bathmat. Amazing but true, the bathroom had large glass windows and a glass door with aluminium venetian blinds which were bent and broken, and did nothing to protect the unsuspecting viewer from the full experience of the one showering or seated on the throne. The bedsheets were so old that they had become transparent from washing. There was nowhere to put 2 suitcases, room for one at the end of the bed but only floorspace for the 2nd. Nowhere to unpack and place clothing. The daybed which also serves as the sofa was horrible to sit on. The glasses and cutlery were dirty, so I washed most of those before we could drink anything. The kitchen was poorly equipped and everything was thrown in a jumble under the sink. No tea towel to dry glasses or cutlery. We booked and paid for 3 nights but only stayed 1 night.

The location was perfect, you are literally just under one of the main museums. The historic name for the flat means water collection point, which it would have been in the time of the Moors. There is an olive tree directly outside the door which added to its charm. You are no more than 5 minutes walking from Plaza Mayor and even less from Plaza San Juan. Very near is the plaza Santa Clara's which has a few eateries and a microbar Las Clara's.
The flat will be perfect for some times of the year and others not. It is a very cool flat so will help when summer nights are at their hottest, but in winter I imagine you will need all the heating on. Despite what people have written about the bathroom, we had no issues with it, there are blinds that either must have been recently installed or others failed to notice, either way they preserve your dignity.
