“A lovely hotel in a great location!”

This was our second stay at Casas Reais, and we enjoyed it as much as our first. There was a strange occurrence, however, on our first night (Saturday). A loud mechanical noise started around midnight and lasted about an hour. (We realize that folks are still socializing at midnight in Spain, but some of us don't last that long anymore!) It was so disturbing that I got up to try to find the source of the noise. I heard it on all of the floors but couldn't locate it.

“Location was great · Cons: The key card didn’t work properly on the door to the bedroom. It seems there is an option to input a code on a touchscreen panel, or put the card on the touchscreen panel. We were given a card, but when we touched the card on the panel, the door didn’t open, it beeped as if we had touched a number. We did this four times and the door told us “your code is not recognised”. Very difficult to get into the room, it opened after about 5 minutes of trying different angles..”

“Great location right on the edge of old town, so it's easy to explore further into old town and the cathedral but also easy to access the rest of the city. The bed was comfortable, and the view from the little balcony was beautiful. The street can get noisy, but the doors have great soundproofing so the room is very quiet. · Cons: The bathroom door was squeaky and at times difficult to open.”

Great location right on the edge of old town, so it's easy to explore further into old town and the cathedral but also easy to access the rest of the city. The bed was comfortable, and the view from the little balcony was beautiful. The street can get noisy, but the doors have great soundproofing so the room is very quiet.
