“Really characterful hotel in a small town absolutely worth a visit.”

This hotel has tons of character. The room was spacious, clean and nice feel to it. Breakfast was really nice. The hotel is very well situated to visit the beautiful old town of Albarracín. Recommended.

“Well below what we expected”

The best

The room, as people have said, was charming. But lacking in certain aspects - see below. Yes there is a lovely comunal room. But lacking in certain aspects - see below.

To be improved

The hotel claims to have airco, which it sort of does. It has some property-wide airco, centrally controlled. It is switched on at 15.00 and turned off at 23.00. During that time ours made some random screaching and grinding noises, whilst failing to overcome the heat that had built up in the room from 23.00 to 15.00. It became so hot during the night that we opened the window, but there was no fly screen so we were soon being eaten alive by mosquitoes. The shower is a hand held outlet above the bath and it is almost impossible to shower without the water streaming past the flimsy plastic curtain and flooding the bathroom. The communal space has no bar. There is a kettle but no coffee or tea bags. Breakfast is straight from the supermarket, ready sliced. Parking is 5 minutes up a steep hill.

Beautiful location and the property was very well maintained. It was a very quirky building with lovely features. Lots of choice for breakfast Great location with lovely walk up to the old town

To be improved

There was building works opposite which was noisy during the day but couldn’t really be helped.

“The hotel is situated in the old building, probably former mill. The decoration in the hall is tremendous, especially glass floor showing old stone walls and a creek. The dining room is very charming with a nice view to the mountains. The staff is super friendly and helpful. All was totally great! We wishes we'd stay more. · Cons: More wall sockets near the bed would be nice to have.”
