Appalling. Nothing was prepared for our stay. Booking.com had not received confirmation from the property of our stay so absolutely nothing was ready. They didn't tell us they'd not been able to contact the property, or we wouldn't have gone. No response from phone number given. After 2 hours wait cleaner arrived to let us in. Not cleaned since last season, needed major clean. Broken pump in pool. Filthy pool. Broken outdoor furniture. Shower door fell off. No steps to access hot tub, obvious that previous renters used garden furniture as steps as all seats broken. Key to building given to us but not key to property main gate. Locked out on first day, granddaughter had to climb wall to access our money, passports, policies etc. Cleaner & husband only people we could contact, they told us of a 2nd key to main gate. No answer at all from local number given, tried multiple times. VERY stressful stay. Small refund from Booking.com but nowhere near enough to compensate for stress caused. V. poor customer services from Bkg.com who should have let us know there may be a problem before we set off. After we returned even Bkg.com couldn't contact the property. Why have it on their list? Terrible experience and communication from both the property and Booking.com. Nice beach nearby. Nice weather.
