“Our time at this accommodation was truly special. Perfectly located between La Palma’s two main towns — Los Llanos and Santa Cruz de La Palma — it gave us the best access to both sides of the island while still feeling like a peaceful retreat. One of the highlights of our stay was the absolutely stunning view: from the garden and around the house, we had a direct line of sight to the newly formed Tajogaite volcano, the beautiful Pico Birigoyo, and the breathtaking Caldera de Taburiente. Every glance felt like a postcard. At night, the magic continued. With no light pollution, we could clearly see the Milky Way with the naked eye — right from the garden. Stargazing became part of our routine, and it’s something we’ll never forget. The house itself was spotlessly clean, thoughtfully equipped with all the facilities we needed for a comfortable and easy stay. Every detail was taken care of, and the space felt warm and welcoming from the start. Our host was simply wonderful — warm, generous, and genuinely caring. She even had a charming display of handcrafted souvenirs in the house, available for purchase. It was such a lovely way to take a bit of La Palma’s spirit home with us. We are deeply thankful for this experience. If you’re looking for a place that offers beauty, comfort, authenticity, and kindness, this is it. We would return in a heartbeat.”

“Nice, good and interetsing experience.”
Isolated location but inside the El Paso village. Good and relaxing environment, isolation from everything, old traditional house but carefully reconstructed and furnished with a good sence of style, care, simplicity and love, with 2 rooms good for living and staying.
nothing! within the price range and objectived to find simple, yet very well prepared isolated living environment there is nothing to dislike.
“A wonderful stay!”
The hosts were waiting for us when we arrived, they'd also given us very useful advice ahead of time regarding buying basic groceries on a public holiday! Very homely environment, lovely garden. Very comfy bed and pillows (!) - we slept REALLY well - and enough space on the sofa for two to relax in the evening. We were impressed how well the heating worked on the chillier nights. The kitchen was well-equipped and it was such a luxury to have a dishwasher (something we do not have at home). We had our meals outside in the lovely garden whenever possible. Receiving supplies of eggs from the hens and avocados from the garden was much appreciated! Similarly, it was great to be able to ask for advice, like where to buy fresh locally caught fish. I thought it was great to know that the hosts next door would be able to help us if we had any concerns about anything. And whenever we had a question, Ida was always very quick to reply via WhatsApp. Thank you Ida and Michele for a wonderful stay!
everything was great - no complaints
“Exceptional”
Everything was perfect. A spacious and comfortable house, impeccable cleanliness, and well-equipped. Beautifully maintained garden with several seating options. Very kind and attentive host, thank you for the welcome and farewell gifts. We definitely recommend this accommodation.
“Highly recommended in every aspect.”
Ida and Michele were perfect hosts. The property is a beautifully restored house with everything provided for our very comfortable weeks stay. Ida's attention to every detail was exemplary. There is a lovely garden to sit in. The property is ideally situated for walking the central part of the island and within walking distance of the National Park Visitor Centre. We are likely to return next year.
A car was useful for shopping for provisions or accessing restaurants as the walk can take over 30 minutes. We were aware of this when we booked our stay. However the benefits of the property outweigh this minor inconvenience.
“Cozy house with private garden for an ideal stay!”
The coziest place on the island. Amazing views 360 degrees, surrounded by green hills and amazing plants in the garden. El Paso is very close, is quite centered in the island so you can visit the whole island towards a different direction every day. Ida is a wonderful host, she welcomed us in the best way, left goodies for us and gave perfect tips to visit the island. The house is finely decorated, feels authentic and coherent with the surroundings. It is equipped with everything you could need (laundry, dishwasher, home appliances). The garden is really the magic touch, there’s privacy and you can sit by the plants and enjoy the breeze disconnecting from the world, only roosters and bee sounds every now and then. Just PERFECT ✨
