“Superb”

The best

Lovely quiet location with beautiful views over the sea and coast line to Papagayo . There were amenities ( supermarkets etc) close by and a 10 minute walk brings you to the Marina Rubicon with all its restaurants and shops and biweekly market . It was a lovely location to base ourselves for the week , lots of lovely walks over the tracks to the beautiful beaches like Playa Mujeres and Papagayo beach in one direction and also to Playa Dorado in the other direction along the Avenida Maretimo. Begona was lovely checking in on us and ensuring we had everything we needed .. and the lovely welcome pack was very thoughtful!

“Great hosts, lovely accommodation in a very good location for a quiet holiday.”

The best

Great location - just 50m from the coastal path which takes you into the marina - 10 minute walk. Very clean and well equipped. Good supermarkets within 5 mins walk. '30' bus stop also 5 mins away - pretty reliable every 30 mins. Great beach about 45 mins walk (or short taxi ride) away -Playa Mujeres. Super hosts. Begona responded quickly to any queries and even dropped in to help us find some English speaking channels on tv. Great restaurants in the Marina - pick of the bunch, La Casa Roja for a special meal and 7 Sensi for the best pizza ever!

To be improved

Property outdoor space is in the shade by early afternoon. Few English speaking TV channels - so bring own laptop to access Netflix (we couldn't access it on tvs - maybe too complex for our tech skills!), SkyGo etc. Maybe the book containing house equipment instructions could be a little better. [We worked a couple of things out by trial and error!]
