We feel it was intentional deceit on the part of the owner for a failure to mention in his description, that the access to his place was as challenging as it is and then to well after we had paid a non refundable payment 3 months before, to then show us where the house was. We could see the house high on a hill but some houses high up have a road that runs near or even above the house. Only a mountain goat would like going up the >50, closer to 100 steps I would guess and they wouldn't have to carry 50# suitcases and be 80 years old. We paid, non refundable, well in advance but when we finally spoke to the owner and complained about the stairs etc he said that he had sent pictures. True, but well after we had paid the nonrefundable fee and only a few days before our arrival. As a result we paid for our entire stay and yet never even saw the inside of the place or was even able to climb up to the place. Additionally finding the place was next to impossible with one reason being the the name on the street sign was different from the name of the street we were given. Literally hours were spent searching even though we knew we were somewhere near the place. We called the lady who was to meet us and give us the key for directions. She gave us some and said she was standing on the porch of the house and that we should be able to see her. When we finally figured out the street name situatuin which she never told us about we then could she here up in the clouds at the top of the very very long set of steps. Oh, and did I say that parking would have been very challenging since there was just no room to park.

The stairs are tiring but worth it for the impressive view. The shared pool does take some of the privacy away
