“This is a very special overnight stay at an authentic Spanish farm house. The room was comfortable and clean . The view and location is beautiful. The area is quiet and so peaceful. Breakfast was lovely too”

“Breakfast and dinner were genersous, homemade in an authentic historic home. Bed was comfortable and bathroom had everything we needed. The details and original furniture was quaint and interesting. Beautiful setting--picos out the window. Flowers, balconies, crests--all made it a special place to stay. · Cons: It was hard to find the location without GPS. No signage that we were in Treviño on the road we were walking -- the Camino Labaniego. After backtracking with a taxi we were warmly welcomed. Perhaps it was my fault. A simple sign on the highway or road would have helped.”

“Truly enjoyed staying in a 1700 century home with all original floors, doors and decor. The owner cooked us lovely hardy supper with choices for beer, wine and water. She has a great little al carte menu. Breakfast was also plentiful as shown in the pictures. Beds were super comfy and large which is odd to get in the Spanish countryside. Be prepared to speak mostly Spanish with the host. The view of the Picos de Europa is spectacular. · Cons: Since the home is also part of a farm, there are lots of flies around while sitting outside. Be prepared to climb up a steep country road for 1km if you are walking/hiking through. The location is quite remote.”
