The best

Everything. The couple who own the property, are so friendly and hard working to make your stay perfect. The pool area is hard to get to, if you have any difficulty in walking, but once there it is such a tranquil and natural area, you cannot help but relax. The food is perfect and the atmosphere is very relaxed.

To be improved

The accessibility, if you have any difficulty in walking. There are a lot of uneven steps, which add to the charm, but can be difficult to navigate.

“Beautiful place with outstanding service for a full romantic weekend.”

Outstanding experience. Anything in writing will be an understatement of the quality of service provided by the owners of this amazing place. The setting is beautiful, the food prepared by the hosts is very very good. The building is newly renovated keeping the historic structure. If you have time you must enjoy the spa during your stay. We will be back this year for sure.

“A delightful stay in a beautifully renovated old building with great food, local wine and lovely hosts.”

This fascinating property had been lovingly restored and modernised by the most delightful couple. Lots of old stone, artefacts from the grounds had been thoughtfully refashioned, all alongside modern furnishings. It felt quite a privilege to be enjoying this Old building which had had new life breathed into it. We had a very tasty 3 course dinner and breakfast was truly excellent. I could not recommend this delightful property more highly. Just sad that we will probably never travel this road again. The owners spent time chatting to us telling us about the renovation journey and we left feeling as though we were old friends.

To be improved

Not so much didn’t like as were aware the steps leading down to the property were very uneven stone and could be an issue for elderly and infirm.
