“Excellent location in the heart of Santa Cruz.”

The best

Fantastic location. Right in the heart of the city. Very clean property. Excellent value for money. Good information sent prior to self check in by host. High ceilings. Comfy bed. Bathroom was very clean. Bedroom window/doors opened with an excellent view of the hustle and bustle of the Street below.

To be improved

Very very difficult to sleep because of the noise of the Street below. 2 different establishments had music pumping out until very late into the night. Also sound of people shouting/chatting. Basically no soundproofing at all in the room. Also other guests woke me up slamming doors and insanely loud noise that sounded like blinds being pulled down, then up, then down at 2am. I had to buy earplugs in a pharmacy for night 2 which was a slight improvement but still no great quality sleep. No tea/coffee facilities anywhere on the property. Bit of a long walk to the bathroom and back to the room.

“Excellent location and Comfortable Room..”

The best

As a sole traveler I like to find a room like this rather than a hotel. It was an excellent location in central Santa Cruz. My room had a balcony overlooking the main street. The property has recently been developed.

To be improved

As stated the bathroom is not directly next to the bedroom. However this was not a major problem. It’s good to have a private bathroom.

“Very enjoyable stay”

The best

Very clean and modern feel. Well equipped rooms and beds were comfy. Bathroom facilities worked perfectly and were easy to use. Very accessible location with shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Good transport links with busses around the city and to nearby beaches and the airport.

To be improved

Sound insulation isn’t great but generally not an issue.

No breakfast, because there are only rooms and bathrooms.

Very difficult to find, not on the address mentioned, but in a parallel street. Necessary to telephone to be guided to the right adress. You don't see anyone to welcome you. You get in with a code, get your keyroom with a code; very impersonal. In the room almost no space besides the (basic) furnitures. In room 1 and 2 you are constantly disturbed by the people passing by on their way outside or to the bathrooms, expecially due to the woorden floor; this causes that you shake along in your bed with the footsteps of the bypassers, along with the noise. The location in the centre is very isolated from the noises outside, but you hear inside everything of the neighbours. No windows in the room, but a good airconditioning.
