Catalonia Gran Hotel Verdi

We were strolling through Sabadell and decided to stop for a drink since it was quite hot. We heard some people saying they had opened the new terrace with a pool (the pool is for guests only) at the hotel, so we went inside. Alex greeted us at the reception desk. He was very polite and friendly despite dealing with at least 17 people at the reception desk. He showed us where the restaurant and terrace were. Since we were traveling with a baby, he helped us with everything so as not to disturb him. All of this without losing his smile and kindness. When we arrived at the terrace, we were served by two girls, Camilla and Antonella, who made our evening wonderful. They told my son little things, as he was happy dancing in his stroller to the music, watching the lights. And then they were busy (these girls are nonstop!) Antonella made me the best Bloody Mary I've had in a long time! When it was time to leave, I had to go to the bathroom, and the security guard (I'd like to remind you his name was Youssef) escorted my husband (who doesn't speak Spanish) and my son to a less crowded corner so my son wouldn't be bothered by the noise. I'm so grateful for how wonderful they were and also for making our night out with a baby fantastic. I highly recommend it! We'll be back soon, that's for sure. I'd also like to add that we went back the next day and tried the food on the terrace, too. As expected, everything was delicious.

The staff were very friendly and helpful 🙂 took time to point out places to visit and directions to get there, breakfast great. Enjoyed being able to have a swim after a day out. Support staff just as friendly and helpful. Location great- Highly recommened.

The front desk staff is very friendly and polite. We enjoyed every interaction with them. We came by car so the on-premise hotel parking came in handy, so that was also a plus. Other than that, I would say there is nothing extraordinarily good or bad about the hotel. It's a little bit dated, but it's overall clean and functional. It's a basic hotel. The beds are very soft - that might be someone's preference or not. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Great art in the public spaces; great breakfast buffet - great evening dinner buffet. This really was a treat. No wine, but that’s fine. Nice room, a bit influenced by noise from footballers also staying at the hotel, but not enough to keep me awake, and I’m a light sleeper. Overall good.

The walls are paper thin in the hotel so you really need ear plugs. Also our room key didn’t work at one point. I had to go three times to the info to get a new key and in the end the repair man had to change the battery on the door to get it working. The rooms are clean enough and the breakfast is pretty good. All and all avarage hotel no luxury at all.

Is a great hotel by the area, I like the bed, blankets, the space and the attention.
