“Terrible - No Water Supply for Two Days”
We booked a rooftop Luxury room with private jacuzzi deck for a 2 night, weekend stay in Madrid, The hotel was situated on Gran Via (the principal thoroughfare in Madrid) and right at the heart of the City Centre. The problem? - upon arrival - the hotel had NO MAINS WATER FOR 2 DAYS ! We could not wash (other than in the Jacuzzi). We could not brush our teeth, or flush the toilet. The same was true for every room. On enquiring when water supply would be restored - reception staff simply shrugged their shoulders with indifference and said that the last time this had happened - a few months earlier - it took over a day or so. On the day of our departure, the water supply got restored. When I complained after our return, I got a 50% refund. In the 21st Century, a 4-star hotel, situated on the main street at the heart of Spain's capital city should do better. We were appalled by the indifference of staff, the lack of any assistance and the lack of any apology. The worst hotel stay of my life.
“Excellent for families”
Family-friendly, awesome location, spotless rooms, and super helpful staff! We enjoyed a pleasant 6-night stay at the hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful, providing us with any information we needed. The food was good, and my daughters particularly loved sleeping on the bump beds.
“Uncomfortable not pleasant”
Worst area to stay during your trip to Madrid - it s non stop noise from the streets day and night. Even the street rooms have double windows, the noise will let you not allow to sleep and rest properly. We changed rooms and the second one was better but with a smell of moldiness in the bathroom.
“Excellent”
Brilliant location and staff were very helpful and friendly, value for money definitely stay there again!! Easy to get to all the main stites etc museums 👍
“Overall pleasant stay and convenient to tourist hotspots. Easy access to public transport.”
Located conveniently at Gran Via shopping precinct and close to Metro. Room is reasonable size for a family with a toddler. Good breakfast buffet selection. Unique hotel decoration with bar at the lobby
Limited bathroom space and early check in options. Lack of dedicated stopping place in front of the hotel, located in the busy strip of Gran Via.
“Nice rooms good space · Cons: The pool is veeeeeeery small”
