“Location is great and easy to check in online prior to stay. Rooms are large and airy. Air con was great. Bag store was great. · Cons: No tea and coffee in the room which was disappointing for the price, also there is a charge to watch television other than one or two free channels. I didn’t find the bed particularly comfortable but my partner slept like a log, so this is probably personal preference.”

“Could be better.”

Well out of the city centre which reflects the price. Next door to huge Westfield shopping centre. Depending on the purpose of your visit would be expensive and time consuming travelling around everyday. As Australians we are used to a kettle and tea/coffee facilities in the room but not here, not even a box of tissues. Room size was good and everything was clean. Shower in bathtub would be a trap for older people as quite slippery. Plenty of power outlets in room. Only 1 chair in the room so someone sits on the bed the whole time.

“The location (Sant Andreu) is quite unusual, close to a huge shopping mall but away from practically all tourist spots but perfect for me. The hotel is located on a block with only one way streets around, it has private parking garage (20€/night, open 24h) at the rear with limited places but direct access to the lobby. Unfortunately you can't stop the car in front of the hotel, unless you park on the large side walk (watch your tyres) or find a public parking spot which is a often challenge in this area. The lobby is nicely furbished as well as the breakfast area, with an excellent buffet priced reasonably. The staff in very friendly and helpful. The place is wheelchair accessible, and has a spa and gym in the basement. The 2 single beds were super comfy and the bathroom with bath/shower (and bidet, not so common) spacious and clean. Strong WiFi, did not use the TV. · Cons: The cleaning of the room could be a notch better and the furniture looks a bit outdated and worn compared to the entrance of the hotel. The room was located on the second floor in a non-smoking section but there was a persistent smell of a joint on the corridor and also in the room (note: the management decided not to charge us breakfast for the nuisance, chapeau!).”
