This hotel is in a fabulous location right in the historic centre. Just a stroll from the cathedral. Many restaurants and bars within easy reach. The hotel has a lovely albeit small pool on the rooftop with amazing views. We were given a voucher for a complimentary glass of cava from the terrace bar on the rooftop, which was a nice touch. Our room was a superior double which was very quiet. The beds and pillows were super comfy. Nice toiletries supplied in the bathroom and a good quality hairdryer. Hot water took a while to come through in the mornings for a shower, but it did eventually come through!!. Matiz is a nice place for a drink at the end of a long sightseeing day. Hotel reception staff were all lovely and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return on my next trip.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. Ten minute walk from the train station but still in the heart of things very near the cathedral and bars and restaurants. Nice clean spacious room and bathroom. Good buffet breakfast and also catered well for my husband who is a coeliac.

This is a perfectly located modern hotel, close to the Malaga harbour, key transportation and sights. We loved our stylish, comfortable and well appointed room, with view on the Cathedral. Firm bed, good sheets, fabulous shower. Very quiet. And our deal included breakfast, which was excellent.

Good location close to old town, port and beach. Pool area small be adequate.

We booked a superior room for 4 nights over new year. We loved our room overlooking a buzzing side street, with a lovely french balcony (note: not all rooms have a balcony). It was quiet overnight which is important. The room was well appointed and spacious. The hotel bar was lovely, if expensive. We didn't use the hotel restaurant apart from breakfast which had everything we expected. The location is perfect next to the cathedral, in one of the smartest streets on the edge of the old town. Our only gripe was the fact we booked a hotel so that we could enjoy NYE drinks since a lot of places are closed, but all public areas were closed to residents unless you booked the gala dinner. This seems really unfair when guests are paying 350 euros per night, there should at least be one part of the hotel open to residents for a drink. For that reason I would avoid booking for NY.

We have stayed a few days in this hotel and cannot praise the staff enough. My mother requires a mobility scooter and whenever we arrive the team are ready to help her. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are a great size with tea and coffee and they are very clean. I would highly recommend this hotel for family or couples as very central.
