An absolutely beautiful hotel. The staff are extremely accommodating & went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast buffet was amazing with a wide variety of breakfast items on offer. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Positives first. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the complimentary glass of cava for signing up to their loyalty programme was a nice touch. We had a rental car for our stay and chose the hotel because of its proximity to a secure, underground car park, with Parking José Laguillo directly opposite. It was easy to get to, without having to navigate any narrow streets in the older bit of the city, and was €53 for just under 72 hours. All accessible by lift/elevator from car to hotel room. The hotel is well located for easy walking into the old city - Setas was around 15 minutes, the Cathedral and Alcazar around 25 minutes and Plaza de Espana around 30 minutes. The safe in the room was big enough for a large laptop. The negatives. Maybe we were just unlucky on room allocation (room 110), but there really didn't seem to be very much internal noise insulation from the room above or the corridor itself. There was regularly the sound of rushing water (presumably a toilet being flushed or a shower being used) and the internal corridor fire doors outside our room didn't manage to hold on the magnets very well and led to people banging them. Even inside our room, the door for the en-suite had a clear half an inch gap all the way around it. We were only there in the mornings and evenings and only for a couple of nights, so didn't flag anything to the reception staff. I noticed that the lifts also appeared to be outside of inspection dates (presumably awaiting inspection). Overall. The room was pretty basic and works fine if you just want a bed for a couple of nights - should add that we didn't use the spa and the rooftop terrace was closed for maintenance so we didn't use that either. Clearly a cheaper alternative to staying nearer the old city and with a great option for easy car parking.

This is a good hotel and a short walk, 10 or 15 minutes to the old town. They staff are very friendly and the hotel is exceptionally clean. Breakfast options are good with hot and cold options and gluten free options. A few frustrating things. For me it was unclear when booking that use of the hot tub was an extra charge, one reason for booking the hotel was that I thought I had use of the facilities. At 15 euros per hour and with the requirement to book it was not feasible for me. I think this should be much clearer on booking sites. The room was well decorated but really noisy from street traffic and road works. I would pay special attention to the type of room your booking as not all have the lovey balcony which I would have loved, chafing was not possible on check in due to availability.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel from check in to check out..Staff are super friendly, a special mention to Carmen in the bar who was so lovely. Every hotel needs a Carmen..Rooms were spotless clean and bed was very comfortable..Location is fantastic..we eat a couple of times at an Italian Restaurant named Don Pino (a five minute walk from the hotel), the food there was fabulous..we will definitely be back and would recommend this hotel to friends and family..Thanks so much to all the staff for a wonderful and memorable stay..see you soon
