“Heart of the Old City - Excellent Location!”

The best

I gave this an exceptional because of its location. We also greatly appreciated the early check-in. Girona was my favorite place in our 3+ weeks of travel. The flower festival was going on which opened up many places to explore. This place is located right in the old city and is well equipped with a larger fridge, cooktop, washer/dryer, and generously sized comfortable bed.

To be improved

Space is a little tight with limited space around the bed and at the toilet. Wasn't my issue but if you're a large person, using the toilet could be a problem. I understand there's not a lot of options, if any, to remedy.

The location is excellent. It’s in the old quarter of Girona, in walking distance of the Cathedral, cafes, restaurants, shops, the river.

To be improved

It is SMALL and funky. Barely enough hot water in shower for one 5 minute shower. Coffee machine didn’t work great. Some street noise.

“2 days in Girona”

The best

Very good positioning, close to the Cathedral. Quiet area, in a block of flats.

To be improved

The initial collaboration with the host when I could not enter the property left much to be desired. It is normal to receive an answer on the number provided to solve the problems. We managed to get in after standing in front of the door trying in vain for the received code. A lady appeared, who, after giving us a speech about the tenants' dissatisfaction vis a vis the rental of houses to tourists and the problems that arose, opened the door for us. When everything was already resolved, the host answered us on whattsapp and after many explanations redirected us to take a key from a box.. It was very stressful to call in vain several times. As a suggestion for the room, it would be good to add another chair, however small. The proximity of the toilet bowl to the shower window is a little disturbing. Everything else was perfect.
