This provider was a sort of scammer. I can't say ANYTHING positive about our experience.

To be improved

The apartment was NOTHING like in pictures. The room has a window that we could not open due to the toxic air coming from a restaurant nearby. A/C not working properly. Everything wrong.

This is a great location for living in Barcelona with easy access to transportation, restaurants and bars. We loved the location and will return.

The best

My boyfriend and I booked this apartment for 1 month, and we extended our stay there with one more week. We also had our dog with us. It was simply amazing. The apartment is very spacious, it has a living area with a kitchen, 1 bedroom, and 1 bathroom. Both the living area and the bedroom have tiny balconies, from where you can see a beautiful building vis-a-vis, and enjoy the view of Mount Montjuic from the side. The location is perfect. It is the perfect place to be between El Born, El Gòtic, and Barceloneta. It is a 15 min walk to Barceloneta beach. There are a variety of restaurants at the ground floor of the building. The terrace on the building is simply amazing, the view is gorgeous - you can go there to enjoy a meal, and/or a drink, get a tan, or do some yoga. The building is an historic one that has been renovated and it is beautiful. The nice surprise was that weekly cleaning was included in the price. The apartment is well equipped for a longer stay, we've had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay there very much, and we recommend it 100%.

To be improved

There's not a lot of natural light. There is a bit of sun entering the apartment for 1 or 2 hours in late afternoon. The TV is old, there was no cable, and you can't connect to it via wi-fi. The bed is actually consisting of 2 separate beds that have been put together. The building doesn't have private parking, we've had to reserve a parking spot in a public parking lot 8-10 min away, because the nearby parking lots didn't seem safe at all.

Be careful, they are scammers. I booked a stay for 1 moth at Port Vell appartment Reina Cristina 12, Barcelona via Booking.Com and payed Euro 2000 security deposit. Now they do not return the deposit and do not reply any messages via direct email or Booking.Com contacts.
