My room was small, but it had everything you need. It is located in the middle of lively Malasaña. Staff is friendly. It was all good.

“Comfy and quiet air-cond room in Malasaña”
The best

We stayed in a Double Superior street-facing room with balcony on the first floor of the building. It is very well located and with the good double glass balcony windows, which is important during weekend nights, the room was quiet to sleep. The personnel is very attentive and even if the reception is only open until 15:00, anything can be easily asked/arranged via whatsapp. Easy access to the room with keypad door lock and/or card to open the door, both provided. Having wifi access proved to be inportant as the old thick walls barely let pass any 4G signal to the room.

To be improved

No mini fridge in the room. But being a hostal, not a hotel, I guess is normal. Could be a nice upgrade though, at least on the superior rooms.
