Cehegin Old Town House

Lovely house with a great view. Falling asleep to the song of the nightingale. Caring owners. Five stars!

The location is great, right in the old town. Communication with the host Maria was great.

Great place. Combine an old town location with a rural feel. We could park our car nearby (2 min walk) and in a free regular parking lot (without driving through narrow streets). The house is simple with a great little yard. We got some nice local snacks and drinks (thank you). Few steps and you are in the center of old town.

Mary, the host was extrememly helpful with communication etc from the moment I booked our stay. The accomodation is very characteristic, clean and the facilities were more than adequate for our family of four. (2 adults and 2 teenagers). We made the mistake of using google maps to direct us to the Palaza to meet Mary for key collection. This led us down some extemely narrow back streets and not the main road which caused us some problems with manouvering the rental car but we got there eventually. Ensure you take the main route to the Plaza Castillo, not the back streets! We had no idea what there was to see or do in the area, we just booked and turned up and were very pleasently suprised at what a beautiful and historic area this is. We were there for three nights. Plenty of sights to see without getting in the car. Due to the etremley hot weather we did also spend a few hours at the towns outdoor pool which was lovely and very cheap (11E for four). All in all a lovely stay.
