The location was great in the heart of the old town. A lovely first experience of Ourense. Very clean apartment and very well equipped. There is a lift to the apartment and an offside private garage was available to us

“Clean, Efficient Apartment in Historic District”

The best

This is a clean, efficient, nicely appointed, well-situated one bedroom, one-bathroom apartment in the heart of Ourense's historic zone. There is an additional sofa bed in the living room. You really couldn't ask for more at such a reasonable price. Best of all are the friendly and helpful owners Conchi and David who also manage this attractive property. And it is an easy walk to anywhere in the old town distict which becomes quite lively and festive when the sun goes down. Highly recommended.

To be improved

The only disappointment was the fact that the nearby As Burgas thermal baths were recently shut down by the Mayor of Ourense for an unknown reason. The thermal water is pouring out of a downtown spring but the pool itself is empty, and as of this writing it remains closed. Of course, you can go out to additional thermal springs along the river with a reasonably priced transport vehicle which departs regularly from the Plaza Mayor, but it's several miles outside of town and a bit difficult to access. Also, be sure to have Conchi show you how the stovetop works. We couldn't figure it out during our 3-night stay, so ended up baking everything.
