“We loved it!”
The best

The location is excellent. We adored dining at nearby Cafe Varela, which is an old school restaurant with a poetic history. It's also easy to walk or take a taxi to other locales from this area. The host was incredibly accommodating as well.

To be improved

Be aware, it is a lively location, so it is not a quiet rental. There is a music venue right across the street, so on weekends especially, you will be able to hear people enjoying their evenings outdoors. We didn't mind it at all, but other folks mind want a quieter space.

Close to restaurants and sights. Perfect location to get to everything we wanted to do. Host was the best, he gave several recommendations that were very good.

“Great stay, very central and very welcoming host”
The best

Great location very close to main sites and a few minutes walk to the Opera / Palace and restaurants/ bars/ supermarkets. Francisco was very helpful and left some food gifts on arrival. Very hospitable thank you again! Plenty of space for our family (a couple and daughter) with two separate bedrooms and a living room. Apartment has everything you need for a stay incl. heating and aircon and full kitchen

To be improved

Not major points for us and only for awareness if helpful: - apartment is on the third floor but has a lift (didn’t work on day 1 but was fixed). - front bedroom can be noisy with busy location outside so may need ear plugs as the windows don’t seal/ lock well. Especially on weekend it can be noisy outside from midnight until 5-6am - if not a heavy sleeper it may cause disturbance. - currently the apartment is going through external structural repairs so there is scaffolding up and workmen attending outside apartment windows between roughly 8am-5pm and you can’t see out of the windows past the safety screens on the scaffolding.

One bed was a bit small, not everything was clean. Overall decent though.
