The house was a basement apartment that smelled of mold and dampness, and it received no sunlight at all. There were two rooms—one had no door, and the door of the other didn’t close, so there was no privacy. There was no balcony, only a window facing another building, and when you opened it, you could smell the ventilation and cooking odors from the entire apartment block. The bedsheets were dirty; when we shook the duvet, a cloud of dust came out, as if it had never been aired. The wardrobe where we tried to put our clothes was extremely dirty, as was the entire house.

Apart from the good staff and location, the rest left something to be desired. The washed sheets had bird droppings, the towels were stained, it was dark, there was no ventilation and on top of that, I made a reservation for 4 people and the room was super small. I'm sorry to have to say it like this but it's true. I've never stayed in such an unpleasant environment.

Just small things about maintenance that did not affect our stay like: stained walls and furniture.

Water could suddenly turn scalding hot. Stools were very wobbly and needed fixing. Bed pillows did not fit pillow cover and at least one pillow was past its use by date. Sliding door bolt broken. Kitchen was very small and outside kitchen looked like dumping area. More hooks needed for clothes in bathroom and second bedroom. Apartment needs some TLC.
