“A wonderful week in the mountains.”

The best

We particularly enjoyed the warmths and helpfulness of the staff. They went out of their way to make sure we were fully equipped for the activities which we undertook. The man of all trades Rodrigo was particularly friendly and welcoming and we were very impressed with how he looked after the grounds with such care and good humour. We would return to the hotel because of Rodrigo.

To be improved

The furniture in the bedrooms was very weak and badly made. It was not child friendly either.

“Just Amazing”

The best

Exceptional. Irene will welcome you like she did with us for sure. The place is magical and will slow your busy life down in one second. It is true they serve breakfast in a basket and it is delicious. You can taste the natural ingredients. Sorry that I do not know the other names from the lovely staff. It is like a family and you can fell that they love what they do. If you like to disconnect...that's your place.

To be improved

I would have to be very picky to find something I did not like, maybe the broken chair, but I am sure if I mentioned that to the staff, they would have fixed it straight away, but because I don't mind, I didn't mention it.

“If you want to relax in peace and quietness, think again!”

The view on the mountains is fantastic. We enjoyed our stay the most when we were away of our apartment on the hill above the swimmingpool. There we senced the peace and quietness we were looking for. Also when we started hiking in the surrounding area. The staff were friendly allthough they didn't take the time to show us around the facilities when we arrived sunday afternoon like we have seen them do with other guests. Maybe just a timing issue. The facilities and appartment overall were nice but not what we expected and certainly not what they sell it to be.

The bar/restaurant with a terrace in the middle of the different apartments is the biggest problem. First night people were still talking, drinking and laughing loud outside the restaurant until almost 1:00 am. Second night until around 12 and third night even with music playing until 00:40 am!!!! And then to know the reception has a sign on the wall saying it should be quiet from 23:00 to 09:00. In my opnion the restaurant should only serve lunch/diner until maybe 19:00 so the evening is quiet like it should be in a surrounding like that. So when you try to find peace and quietness in the calm of nature then be advised that this restaurant will disturb most of it. Another thing that bothers is that in the appartment you hear every little thing of the neighbours you really don't want to hear. Very uncomfortable. Breakfast was ok but no quality or fresh products. Cold scrambled eggs, coffee cups with a bottle of cold milk you have to heat yourself. Bread you have to toast yourself to make it eatable or else it's too hard and dry. They say it's local product but very lacking quality. In general we missed the love and care you would expect from a place like this and for the price you pay. And since you have a restaurant, then use it for breakfast with fresh coffee/tea, warm eggs etc.
